Managing Customers
How to view and manage buyers and customers in the Bamboo dashboard.
Viewing Customers
Navigate to Customers in the sidebar to access the customer list. This page shows all buyers who have registered on your platform.
The customer table displays:
- Name and email address.
- Phone number.
- Registration date.
- Verification status - Whether the buyer has completed ID checks.
Searching and Filtering
Use the search bar at the top of the page to find a specific customer by name or email address. You can also filter by organisation and paginate through the results.
Customer Details
Click on any customer to view their full profile. The customer detail page includes:
Contact Information
- Full name, email address, and phone number.
- Postal address.
Activity History
- Properties bid on - A list of properties the customer has placed bids on.
- Auction registrations - Auctions the customer has registered for.
- Watching - Properties the customer is currently watching.
Verification Status
View the status of the customer's identity verification:
- AML checks - Anti Money Laundering verification status.
- ID verification - Whether photo ID and proof of address have been submitted and verified.
Customer Registration Flow
When a buyer registers on your auction website, the following process occurs:
- Account creation - The buyer creates an account with their email and personal details.
- ID verification - The buyer submits photo ID and proof of address for AML compliance.
- Auction registration - The buyer registers for a specific property or auction event.
- Deposit payment - If required, the buyer pays a bidder deposit to confirm their registration.
Once all steps are completed, the buyer is approved to bid.
Managing Customer Issues
If a customer is having trouble with registration or verification, you can:
- View their current verification status to identify where they are stuck.
- Contact them directly using the details on their profile.
- Escalate any technical issues to the Bamboo support team.
