Organisation Settings

How to configure your organisation, manage branches, and customise your Bamboo experience.

Viewing Your Organisation

Navigate to your organisation page from the sidebar to view and manage your organisation's settings. The organisation form contains all the configuration options for your account.

Organisation Structure

Bamboo organisations are structured in a hierarchy:

  • Organisation - Your top-level company entity.
  • Regions - Optional grouping of branches by geographic area.
  • Branches - Individual office locations within your organisation.

Each branch can have its own settings, agents, and property listings.

Key Organisation Settings

General Information

  • Organisation name - Your company name as it appears on the platform.
  • Contact details - Primary email and phone number.
  • Address - Your head office or registered address.

Branding

Configure how your auction pages appear to buyers:

  • Logo - Your company logo displayed on your white-label auction pages.
  • Colour scheme - Customise the primary colours to match your brand.
  • Website URL - Your main company website.

Auction Settings

Configure default auction behaviour for your organisation:

  • Default auction type - Set whether new listings default to Traditional or Conditional auctions.
  • Default bid increment - The standard minimum bid increase.
  • Buyer fees - Default fees applied to successful buyers.
  • Terms and conditions - Custom terms displayed during buyer registration.

Integrations

Connect external services to your Bamboo account:

  • Street CRM - Paste your Street API access token to import properties from Street. See the Street Integration Setup guide for detailed instructions.
  • Alto - Connect your Alto CRM for property syncing.
  • DocuSign - Configure electronic signature workflows for auction contracts.

Notifications

Configure how and when your organisation receives notifications:

  • Email notifications - Set up email alerts for new bids, registrations, and auction events.
  • WhatsApp notifications - Enable WhatsApp alerts for key events.

Managing Branches

Within your organisation settings, you can manage individual branches:

  • Add a branch - Create a new branch with its own name, address, and contact details.
  • Edit branch details - Update branch information.
  • Assign agents - Control which agents belong to which branch.

Each branch can have its own:

  • Contact details and address.
  • Default auction settings.
  • Agent assignments.

Your Profile

Navigate to My Account in the settings section to manage your personal profile:

  • Name and email - Your personal login details.
  • Change password - Update your account password.
  • API tokens - Generate API access tokens for programmatic access to the Bamboo platform.
  • Subscriptions - View and manage your AuctionPro subscription if applicable.

Access Levels

Bamboo uses role-based access to control what each user can see and do. The main access levels are:

LevelDescription
BranchCan manage properties and view data for their assigned branch only.
RegionCan manage and view data across all branches in their region.
OrganisationFull access to all branches and settings within the organisation.
